Our Craft Fair this year was based on our Green School work on the theme of Global Citizenship. The aim of this theme as described by 'Green Schools Ireland' is " to create a knowledge and understanding about the link between environmental degradation and human rights. Students will learn about sustainable development and will be enabled to examine the world’s interdependency and development in a critical manner in order to create real change by acting locally, effecting a more equitable, just and sustainable globe for all"
So for our Craft Fair our pupils and staff worked together to create crafts which were mostly made from recycled materials. Thanks to everyone who helped make our 2013 Craft Fair a huge success.
