Little Angels Native Woodland Area
Mrs O'Connor's class presented a lovely assembly today where she told us all about a new area in Ards Forest Park which is dedicated to Little Angels Special School.
Mrs O'Connor organised volunteers from the school to meet in Ards Forest Park at the start of April. Coillte very kindly donated a tree, for every child in the school, which the volunteers planted.
Mr Richards made a beautiful sign to mark our little woodland so you won't miss it if you go to visit. Thank you to all the staff and their families who showed up on the day.
A special word of thanks to Mr O'Connor for getting the trees and the planting organised and of course to Coillte.
Finally thank you to Mrs O'Connor...it is such a lovely idea for our school to have our own little corner in a National Park.
