by one of our team members, you likely witnessed our staff managing a severe behavioral episode, possibly even in the early stages.

We understand these situations can look concerning or intense to passersby.

What You Witnessed: Our students have deep-rooted neurological, communication, and

emotional conditions that sometimes manifest as severe emotional distress. When this happens,

their actions are involuntary cries for help due to sensory or nervous system overload.

Our Safety Framework: Our teams operate under strictly regulated, audited, and legally compliant

physical and emotional intervention techniques. Every movement is calculated to prevent self-harm

or injury to others, utilising the minimum restriction required. Dignity and safety are our absolute

priorities.

Why We Are In Public: Isolation is not a solution. True education involves teaching students how

to navigate the sights, sounds, and social boundaries of the wider world. We thank you for your

compassion, space, and vigilance in making our community inclusive for all children.
